1:1 Book Proposal Mentoring with Beth Kempton*

Welcome to my 1:1 Book Proposal Mentoring booking page. This is ONLY open to graduates of my Book Proposal Masterclass and published authors looking to get a better book deal for their next book. Please note we have an extremely high success rate in terms of 1:1 mentees landing book deals, but I cannot guarantee this will happen!

Your 1:1 Mentoring Package includes:

• A full review of your ENTIRE proposal (including sample chapter)
• A 60-minute 1:1 with me where I share my recommendations and you can ask me anything
• A written summary sent to you afterwards, along with the recording of our session

HOW IT WORKS

• You register for mentoring and then will receive an email asking you to confirm which date range you would like to aim for, and confirmation of your time zone. We will then get back in touch with a link to a calendar for you to book in a convenient time.
• You submit your draft proposal (including sample chapter) to [email protected] along with THREE key questions or areas you want support on by the deadline given. Please note if you miss the deadline your mentoring session will have to be postponed.
• I review your proposal and make a note of my key recommendations
• We meet on Zoom for one hour to discuss your proposal and share those recommendations
• I send you a summary of recommendations in writing afterwards along with a recording of the session
• You finish up your proposal with a new-found confidence and go ahead and pitch it to your dream agent or publisher(s)
• I wait to hear from you about your shiny new book deal, and shout about it from the rooftops 🙂

Important notes

• Signing up for mentoring does not guarantee a book deal, it just means you will give your proposal the best possible chance of success.
• This mentoring is non-refundable once booked. If there is some kind of emergency that prevents you submitting your proposal or attending the mentoring at the agreed time, I will endeavour to be flexible, but the session must be completed by the end of 2027 and in the case that it does not go ahead due to your circumstances, you will forfeit the fee.
