***PLEASE NOTE THIS GIVEAWAY HAS NOW ENDED***
As the second giveaway this week in celebration of Do What You Love’s 2nd birthday, I have put together a bundle of creative inspiration from Japan where I recently spent six months having a fantastic adventure, learning traditional crafts and taking thousands of photos.
The winner of this giveaway will get:
– A copy of ‘Chihiro no e no himitsu’ (Secrets of Chihiro’s illustrations) – a gorgeous book by my favourite Japanese illustrator Chihiro Iwasaki (see image above). Even if you cannot read Japanese, the beautiful pictures will inspire you and give you fresh ideas for watercolour, pencil and ink-based illustrations
– A pack of Japanese patterned washi paper perfect for origami
– A skein of wool dyed by hand by me at Kawashima Textile School, using biwa (loquat) leaves I picked from the school garden
– A hand crafted wooden stamp from Kyoto
– Washi tape!
PLUS
– A set of 12 postcards (6 each of 2 designs) designed by Rachael Taylor for The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design
